Impossible Figure: 2007-10-29

I made this prior to the release of Super Mario Galaxy. It features a running Mario as seen in the first Super Mario Bros. game, as well as a mushroom. This is my second themed illusion, but this time only with a texture and not actual geometry.

If you walk clockwise around this construction you will climb the stairs indefinitely. If you walk in the other direction you will forever descend the stairs instead.
