I was a bit puzzled of how to finish this piece, as it was connected impossibly at so many points. The end process was quite straight forward, it was just hard to picture in my head, and I ended up very happy with it.

This entire structure is connected from back to front from the left and from the right, at the same time, while still being just one object.
This one is great, prefer simplicity over the more complicated ones. Thanks!
Actually I count this as a complicated one myself! Perhaps because it was hard to make… but I also think I have quite simpler looking figures in my collection than this one :3 Cheers :)
Heheh, yes I looked at it shortly after writing the comment and calling it “simple” is probably not quite right. :o) It *looks* simple, maybe because of the “pattern” which lead the eye, I think the impossibility of it is easier to appreciate. ;)
I have found myself that symmetrical or pattern-based figures are easier on the eye and the brain, they get simpler to understand. That makes it a bit counterintuitive to design irregular and lopsided creations, it has to be a very conscious choice :P
